A Tailpiecefor Baroque Viola, length 125mm. Made of Maple with an rosewood-field inlay, surrounded by an inlay of mammoth-tooth and ebony. The centre of this tailpiece is an inlayed book also made of mammoth-tooth with the inscription "PAX TIBI MARCE EVANGELISTA MEUS" (Peace onto you Marc my evangelist).
